My tools of the trade? I couldn't live without my trusty Wacom Bamboo drawing tablet, and as a great enthusiast of open source software my computer runs on Ubuntu. I use Blender for my 3D modelling needs (for those who also dabble in 3D modelling, I really really recommend learning Blender: the software is fantastic and not to mention free). For graphical applications I often use GIMP (like Photoshop) and Inkscape (like Illustrator), but nowadays also Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign. My product and jewelry designs are 3D printed by Shapeways and for about everything else I rely on my mechanical pencil bics and Copic markers!
